Powers Adoption Chatter: My 4:30am partner.

This is us at 4:30am the other morning.
I sat comatose in my LaZBoy while he played quietly in the floor. Tired.

Our Timeline:

October 29, 2012 - Day #1 of 90-day foster period

January 29, 2013- 90-day foster period ends
January 30, 2013 - Filed for first court date

February 15, 2013 - First Court date

April 19, 2013 - second court date

May 30, 20013 - third court date/final judgment

early-June, 2013 - adoption order was issued, waiting on adoption certificate

July 2, 2013 - received Adoption Certificate from theRegistrar's Office

July 2, 2013 - applied for Article 23 Certificate of Completion with NAC Secretariat (which should take 7 business days).

July 9, 2013 - COC is ready!

July 18, 2013 - Got Zac's passport in my hands!!!

July 19, 2013 - US Visa appointment, and Visa Approved!

July 22, 2013 - Picked up Zac's Visa

July 24, 2013 - Flying out of the country

July 25, 2013 - Our i800/i800a expire which is why we are leaving the country the day before.
